Claim the discard
Claim someone's discard for a pung, a kong, a chow from the player on your right, or the winning tile.

Tiles · 4 players, everyone for themselves
Mahjong here is Hong Kong Old Style, played with tiles by four players, everyone for themselves. Build a hand of four sets and a pair, claim the tiles other players throw away, and win with a hand worth at least three faan.
Mahjong is one of the 21 games in Cards Royale.

How it plays
The 144 tiles hold three suits, four winds, three dragons, and flowers and seasons, and everyone takes thirteen while the dealer draws a fourteenth.
Draw a tile and discard one to keep thirteen, or claim another player's discard to complete a set or win.
Complete four sets and a pair worth at least three faan to win the hand, and once every seat has dealt, the highest total wins.

The moments you play for
Four players and a long, thoughtful evening.
Claim someone's discard for a pung, a kong, a chow from the player on your right, or the winning tile.
Draw your own winning tile and every other player loses points to you, not just one of them.
Thirteen orphans, nine gates and four kongs are among the hands that reach the thirteen faan limit on their own.
