Why players stay
Made for the table.

Play it your way, in every game
Every one of the 21 games plays three ways, so there is always a table open.
- Solo: take on a cast of characterful players, each with a personality and a record against you
- Nearby, no internet: connect devices directly and deal a hand on the plane or in the back seat
- Online: private rooms for friends and family, or ranked matches, with the Royale membership

Opponents with names and faces
Forty-five characters sit down at these tables, from easygoing to razor sharp. Dot is a tiny silver-haired lady with her hair in a bun, and she is sharper than she looks.
Each one has a play style, a difficulty and a head-to-head record you can chip away at.

A lesson for every game
Never played Pinochle? Rusty at Bridge? Every game comes with a hands-on lesson at the real table and a picture book of the rules, so nobody sits out.
- Learn by playing a guided hand
- Rules you can check any time, in plain words
- Real rules and real scoring, the way the game is meant to be played

Your face at the table
Answer a short set of questions, with no typing, and Cards Royale makes a portrait that belongs to you alone. It is the face every other player sees, at the table and on the podium.
Then spend the Royale Coins you earn at the table on eyewear, headwear, hair and outfits, and pick the card backs and felt you like best.

One record across every game
Your rating in each game, a cross-game prestige score, Top 100 and friends leaderboards, and Game Center achievements. Win at Euchre tonight and it all counts toward the same you.
Built for iPhone Duo
A table that folds with you.
Cards Royale is made for the iPhone Duo. Open it flat for a table as big as an iPad's, close it for a pocket table, or stand it half open and the table splits at the hinge: the cards in play on one screen, your hand and buttons on the other.
Half open: the trick above, your hand below
Unfolded: a table as big as an iPad's
Folded: a table for your pocket- Half open like a laptop, the trick, the melds and the discard stand on the upper screen, and your hand, the draw pile and your buttons sit on the lower one
- Turn it on its side and the cards in play take the left screen, your hand the right
- The scores and the end of each hand stand on your screen, never across the fold
- The leaderboard keeps the list on one screen and a player's card on the other, and hosting a game puts the players on one screen and the house rules on the other
